About Japan Finds

Japan Finds is a cross-border e-commerce marketplace that delivers excellent Japanese products and services to customers around the world.

It was established by GMO GLOBAL EC to create a sustainable export business that addresses various social issues facing Japan, such as an aging population and declining birthrate.

Challenges in Cross-Border E-Commerce

This project is initiated by GMO GLOBAL EC to make it a sustainable export business that can respond to the various social issues that Japan is facing as the aging population and declining birthrate accelerates and the population decreases.

Showroom Store Project
 

To overcome this challenge, we launched Japan’s first initiative called the “Showroom Store Project.”
Stores are set up at selected overseas locations, allowing local consumers to physically try products. Purchases can then be made easily using QR codes.

Since products are sold duty-free, prices are about 10% lower than in Japan, as the consumption tax is exempted.

Fulfillment by GMO GLOBAL EC
 

For product delivery, we provide “Fulfillment by GMO GLOBAL EC.”
Under this system, products are stored in GMO GLOBAL EC’s partnered warehouses in Japan and shipped directly to international customers.

We also offer an express delivery service, with items arriving in as little as two business days after purchase.
