==== Gokuboso Paper Band Kasuri Dyed —— These are "Kasuri dyed" products made from the ultra-thin Gokuboso paper bands. By applying a special dyeing process, the materials have a natural, gentle texture ideal for handicrafts. The base paper used is a strong, high-quality paper produced in Kochi Prefecture, proven by the Usagiya Collection Color. The paper band processing follows the traditional steps, but craftsmanship is handled by Japan’s only long-established paper processing company. Features of Gokuboso paper bands include: 1. Extremely thin threads (ultra-fine paper threads) 2. Flexibility and lightness derived from the fine threads 3. Six-thread paper bands are thin 4. The tensile strength of ultra-fine paper bands is relatively high 5. Durable enough to withstand detailed weaving work 6. Allows for trying new fields of creation 7. Finished products are lightweight with a soft touch 8. Both base paper and processing are made in Japan 9.
