By applying a special dyeing technique, it has become a gentle, natural-feeling material for handicrafts. The raw paper used is a durable, high-quality paper sourced from Kochi Prefecture, proven through Usagiya's collection colors.
The processing of the paper bands follows the traditional steps, but is skillfully executed by Japan’s only long-established paper processing company.
