This is a "Kasuri-dyed" product of the very thin paper band.

By applying a special dyeing process, it becomes a gentle craft material with a natural texture. The base paper used is a strong, high-quality paper produced in Kochi Prefecture, proven by the Usagiya Collection Colors. Although the paper band processing follows the conventional steps, it is skillfully crafted by Japan's only long-established paper processing company.
